»HVN Peering Connection
An HVN Peering Connection lets you connect your VPC to the HVN to enable communications between your private network infrastructure, including applications and clients running within, and clusters running in the HVN.
Note: You can create HVN Peering Connections across different regions.
»Creating a Peering Connection
To create an HVN Peering Connection, you will need your AWS Account ID and ID of the VPC you wish to connect. Using this data, HCP will initiate a peering connection that you would need to accept in your AWS Console. The HVN Peering Connection will then transition into an Active state within a few minutes.
The HVN Peering Connection alone does not contain any routing information, such as, what traffic to route into that Peering Connection and what traffic to allow from it. Once the HVN Peering Connection is active, you can add an HVN Route for your entire VPC CIDR range or just part of it.
