The Development single-node instance is designed for individual users and building proof of concept projects, it is not designed to be used for production environments. The Standard cluster is a production-ready multi-node highly available Vault cluster that can support enterprise applications.
The HVN is a single-tenant VPC where an organization’s HCP resources are deployed. A HVN is required in order to deploy an HCP Vault cluster and must be peered with an existing AWS environment.
The Advanced Data Module (ADP), resource limiting, and 3rd party plug-ins are not yet available in HCP Vault.
Please visit our documentation for a listing of supported Auth Methods and supported Secrets Engines when using HCP Vault.
